Role & responsibilities
As an Applied Research Engineer, you’ll bridge research and production, designing, evaluating, and shipping models and retrieval systems that reason over complex financial information with provenance and explainability built in.
What you’ll work on
LLM and retrieval pipelines that reason over private-market data
Rigorous evals and benchmarks that keep quality measurable
Accuracy, grounding, and explainability improvements
Shipping research into the product alongside engineering
What we’re looking for
Hands-on experience with modern ML and LLM systems
A bias toward measurable results over hype
A strong focus on correctness, evaluation, and grounding
A background in NLP, IR, or applied ML is a strong plus
